Thanks to the crowd at the Bay Horse last night. We had a great time and we hope you all did too. Sold a few of our CD’s and played through our complete set over about 2 hours. Agree with the nice person who said we should be on Jools Holland show – HA! we wish…
It was great to play ‘The Longing Song’ because it is a very quiet thoughtful track which Tom sings, and playing it as a penultimate song in the set goes against all the rules – ramping up the pace to the end – but it worked very well, bringing a quiet song in when it’s least expected. I noticed a few closed eyes during it, however people might just have been falling asleep? It was late after all!
Thanks to Rob of the Bay Horse for having us on a Sunday night, we loved it.
