A really profound thanks to Chris and Shannon of Totnes Monster, the bestest radio show in town, quite literally- (although were huge fans of Dead Air, In Bed with Sarah and John & TakeNote too!).
We had a bit of a surprise when a small crowd turned up for the session too but it was a very enjoyable hour or two. Listening back to the recordings there appears to have been something going a bit awry with Bevs microphone so only 70% of the sax is on the tape so she disappears every now and again! It sounded great in the room though. I reckon we overtaxed poor Michael the producer with all our kit and stressed him out what with the footy being on and everything!!! Thanks go to him too for letting us ruin his sporting evening.

Totnes Monster really is a great show and only plays local stuff – if you’re expecting that to limit the quality of what you hear – prepare to be astonished by the pure brilliance of the music made right here. With artists like Mama Tokus, Ben Howard, Metronomy, Katie Whitehouse, The Wishbones, Cosmo Jarvis, Chartwell Dutiro…. The list really does go on and on and on.
