Last night we had a rehearsal and worked through a new number called Valenki (we think!). Its a traditional Russian Folk Dance and really lends itself to rocking out. I expect we’ll bang it out after the bells on New Years Eve at the Bay Horse- last year the crowd were up on their feet for our crazy version of Auld Lang Sine so why not spread the love and pay tribute (or steal) other cultures great tunes whilst were at it.
Not sure I’m clear enough on the dance moves for the tune but it involves linked arms in circles. There certainly wont be enough room in the Bay Horse for that kind carry-on!
